Orange County Fair...Again
Shawn and Louie brought the boys down to go to the fair with us before we leave. We had a blast. Jackson loved riding the big rides with his cousins and we all loved the food.
We even ventured into the petting zoo this time. The goats were huge and a little aggressive when they saw we had food for them.
Both kids loved the Alaskan pig races. The pigs were hilarious and ran as fast as they could with their little legs. They even jumped over hurdles.
Derek, Louie, and I rode one of the scariest rides at the fair! It was so fun but man, my stomach doesn't handle these rides like it used to...can you say queasy.
Grandma was in search of rides for Jordan to ride on. At the end of the night we finally found two that she could ride on.

Day with Paisley
We picked Paisley up from her swim team practice and Jackson and Jordan were so excited to have her in the backseat with them. Our first adventure started out at the Spectrum. Paisley and Jackson waited for the train to come and give them a ride.
Our next stop was Camp Safari. It just opened and is a hands on place for kids to explore, dig for dinosaur bones, find treasure, and ride robotic animals. They even got a jar of goodies to take home at the end.
Of course we couldn't just walk past the water fun. Jackson and Jordan went running in. I am convinced this is how the Carter's store stays in business.
Red Robin it is for lunch! We were starving so Paisley chose Red Robin. We were celebrating her birthday and thought this was perfect so they could embarrass her with a happy birthday song.
After lunch the kids took a nap. Paisley and I took off and went to get manicures and pedicures. Girl time! Can't wait until Jordan is old enough to do this. When we got home we dressed and hit the pool. Paisley helped Jackson jump off the diving board. My mom showed up with pizza and mozzarella sticks. Yum.
on our way to take Paisley home, we detoured to and stopped at House of Yogurt. We bought ice cream for everyone and took it back to Paisley's house. The kids finished off the night with a Thomas movie with Parker too.

Orange County Fair
Finally the fair is here! We love it and this is the main reason we stayed in California for so long. When we walkied in the elephants greeted us. Jackson has a small obsession with elephants and their marching, thanks to the movie Jungle Book.
Jessica, Oliver, and Georges met us up there and Jackson and Oliver tried lots of rides. Jessica and I were a mess watching them try a bee ride by themselves...our boys are growing up.
Probably the funniest picture ever...

Bonfire
Tuesday night we met Heather and Steve at the beach for a bonfire. It was a perfect spot and the Jackson loved playing with all the kids. They had some awesome baseball going on.
Jordan preferred to stay close to the fire and stuff marshmallows in her mouth all night.
It got cold quick...you would think Jerome would have remembered a sweatshirt.

BBQ
Jerome went to work on the grill and cooked up hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausage links. Inga and Gregg came over along with Jessica and lil Jay, Jessica and Oliver, Moomy and YoYo, and then a few of Jeorme's friends from high school. It was a great time had by all..and of course my part was supplying the s'mores on the BBQ.!
