Happy New Year!

We celebrated New Year's Eve at Amber and Tim's new house. I took the kids over with Rebecca because Jerome had to work. We enjoyed good friends and yummy appetizers, but headed home around 11 because I didn't want to be out after midnight with the kids.

Jordan loved Amber's baby belly..so they were comparing.

Jerome was able to come home from work for 20 minutes to ring in the new year. We had sparkling cider, poppers, and dancing.

I'm 2!

Some things about this 2 year old...

Jordan weighs 32 pounds and is in the 90-95th percentile. She is in the 75th percentile for height. Jordan loves to sing and dance. Her favorite songs are "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and " Happy Birthday." She is talking in full sentences, can recite her name, address, and age,and can count to 20 by herself. Jordan loves doing everything her brother does and has an obsession with bracelets, lip gloss, and babies. Her next big feat will be perfecting potty training. She loves wearing "big girl panties" although I am too afraid to take her out of the house in them. I did forget she was in panties one day last week, and she made it through the mall and grocery store with no accidents. I think she is almost ready.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jordan!

Happy 2nd Birthday baby girl! Jordan planned out her day with her first request of sausage and eggs. She would eat this everyday if we would let her. Jordan's next request was a new kitchen for cooking. Her old kitchen was falling apart and cooking was getting "challenging." We went and ran around Toys R Us and then hit the mall. Best thing about your birthday being 4 days after Christmas...everything is on sale. I was able to take her to Gymboree and get the other outfits I wanted for her!

Her request for dinner was french fries so we went to Red Robin. She loved the ice cream they brought to her but was shy during the singing.

When we got home, we had our own cupcakes and singing. I think Jordan had a pretty great day!

Merry Christmas

Jackson and Jordan must have been pretty good this year. They were spoiled by Santa, mom and dad, and grandma. We even were surprised by Auntie Shawn, Uncle Louie, Derek, and Dylan.

Tree Decorating

This was the first year both kids could really help decorate the tree! We turned on Christmas music, Jerome made hot chocolate and cookies, and made a big mess while having lots of fun!

Jackson's Christmas Program

Jackson's school had their Christmas Program before they went out on break. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. They sang and danced to Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reideer. Jackson did great and was not shy.

Treats for Jackson's class.

Daddy bought him a special surprise cake for doing so well.

Yo Gabba Gabba Live!

We love Yo Gabba Gabba! When I found out they were coming to Vegas, I quickly ordered tickets to this sold out show. Jackson and Jordan loved every minute of it and only sat down to eat their popcorn.

They ate this whole tub of popcorn by themselves.

Jackson rapping with Biz.

UNLV Football

Sue called us up because she had extra tickets for the UNLV football game. Jackson has been before, but this was Jordan's first time. She loved the cheerleaders more than anything and danced right along with them. They keep talking about going back..however, I am pretty sure it is only because of the blue cotton candy.

Christmas Card Pictures

We headed out to Lake Las Vegas for our Christmas pictures this year. We did two outfit changes because I love Natalie's work and wanted to be able to have pictures up all year. Here are some of my favorites...

Happy Birthday Mayson

Our birthday weekend continues with Mayson's 2nd Birthday. Melanie threw him the cutest football party with yummy food. Jackson and Jordan love playing with Mayson.

Jackson especially had a great time with Alan. They pretended to play tackle football and wrestle all night.

Happy Birthday Rylee

The first of two parties this weekend was a Pinkalicious Party for Rylee's 3rd birthday. Dawn decked the house out in pink and it was definitely a girls' party. Jordan her pink tutu on immediately and enjoyed all the girly stuff.
