Happy 1st Birthday Jordan

WOW!!! A year has gone by already. Our sweet Jordan is one today and is the sweetest little girl. We started out her day singing her Happy Birthday and making her her favorite breakfast...eggs and sausage.

After getting dressed we went to Toys R Us to get her a pink car and then to the mall for some shopping. I have to instill this in her while she is young. We had a late lunch at Red Robin and Jordan loved being the center of attention. Jackson helped her blow out her candle.

Dinner with the Murphys

While we were in California we went and had dinner with the Murphys just like every time. Diana always cooks dinner and we eat and catch up from the last visit. Tonight she made Eggplant Parmesan and it was delicious. We had never had it and I think we were all surprised that eggplant could be so good. A bonus this time too was that all the boys were home. Normally it is just 1 or 2, but all 4 of them were there. Because Jordan's birthday is in 2 days, Diana made a cake for Jordan and everyone sang happy birthday

Cousins

Christmas Night

Christmas afternoon we get all pretty for dinner. It was so nice to be in California this year and have Christmas night how I always did as a kid. We were meeting my sister and her family at my Aunt Lynda and Uncle Jeff's house.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning got started pretty early for us. My kids didn't sleep till 9 like they normally do...they must have known it was Christmas. Santa brought them lots of unwrapped toys. I love Santa for doing this because then they have stuff to play with right away! After almost two hours of present opening we ate a wonderful breakfast...and went back to bed!

Twas the Night Before Christmas

Having a two year old and an almost one year old, the only thing cute about the night before Christmas is getting them dressed in cute jammies...so that's what I did. Jackson did put out some cookies and milk for Santa and a couple carrots for the reindeer but other than that it was the same routine. My mom's tree was already flooded with presents and Santa hadn't even arrived yet!

My Holiday Decorations

Since we were going to California for Christmas I knew a tree was not going to happen at our house but that didn't stop me from putting up and buying as much new Christmas stuff as I could. I had the best time making some things off on this blog eighteen25. These girls are amazing and create the cutest things.

Cookie Party

I got to put my new kitchen to use by having a few friends over to make cookies and a bunch of other holiday treats. They turned out sooo good and I partly blame this day on my holiday weight gain. All the kids had fun decorating some gingerbread cookies while we made Oreo balls, peppermint bark, puppy chow, and some other yummy things.

Boxed Up

With all the moving going on, Jordan thought she should get moving more too. She is a quick little thing and loves to be in everything. My mom was here visiting this weekend to help us unpack. She put Jordan in this box and she ended up playing in their for quite a while. Great idea Grandma!
