Grand Prix

We were invited to a really fun birthday party at the Grand Prix. We have driven past in many times but never tried it. I was sure Jackcon would just want to run around and play on the slide and in the game room. I was wrong yet again. This boy went running to the LOUD race cars outside. After very firm instructions to go slow and stay away from the other cars, Jerome took him. I was a mess but Jackson loved it! It was the cutest thing to see Daddy and Son spending some good "boy" time together.

Jackson's Birthday

Jackson's birthday fell on a Monday this year. His birthday is right at the beginning of the school year for me, so it was too hard to take the day off. Jerome made him a yummy breakfast and then came up to Iverson with Taco Bell for lunch.









I rushed home from work so we could squeeze in Toys R Us, pictures, and dinner in a few short hours. Success! Jackson loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to him and enjoyed opening more presents. I can't believe my baby boy is 2! I feel so blessed to have a happy, outgoing, friendly little boy.

Riverbound...

It's almost that time to start school again, but before I go we needed one more mini vacation. Off to the RIVER. We headed to Parker, Arizona to Shawn and Louie's river house. Sue and Amber met us there for a last weekend of fun in the sun. Jackson had no fear of the river and we needed to keep a life jacket on him at all times.


SURVIVOR...Amber, Sue, and I were ready to float in the river and read our books. Our rope configuration was slightly different this year but we thought we had it figured out. WRONG!!! Before we knew it, we were out in the middle of the Colorado River and the current was unbelievably strong. And the worst part was...JACKSON was out with us. After almost a half hour of trying to figure out what to do, Sue braved it up and swam for more ropes and Jerome (who was in the house with Jordan). After getting sprayed by a jet skier and an hour going by, Sue and Jerome pulled us in. Phew, that was a close one.



The river was a perfect way to end the summer with family, friends, and lots of good food.

Pump It Up

After getting back from a month long vacation in California, Las Vegas was just HOT!!! We were busy finding indoor activities and decided to go to Pump It Up. I think Jerome and I were more tired after we left than the kids. We stayed busy going up and down all the jumpers and sliding on the slides. Even Jordan got in on the jump action. Too fun!

It's been awhile

Whew..life seems to be slowing down for minute so I better catch up on the blogging while I have some time. To quickly finish up the pictures of our Cali trip before school started...





We went to my favorite restaurant Koki's for some Japanese teppan table food action. Jackson was a little afraid of the fire in the beginning but warmed up to it once the man started making the delicious food.



Our good friends' son, William turned one and we stayed long enough to celebrate with him. Jordan and Jackson loved singing to him and loved his Hawaiian style Luau.






Paisley had her birthday party at her new house which has the most amazing backyard. We especially loved the rock water slide and waterfall in the pool. All the girls at the party were so good with Jackson and catered to all his needs. Lucky boy!

Jackson's 2nd Birthday Party

Jackson had his Blue's Clues birthday party yesterday. I can't believe he is going to be two!!! Jackson's favorite show is Blue's Clues and that was the party of his choice...even though Blue's Clues is sooo 5 years ago. He loved his party day and enjoyed being the center of attention. Jordan is already getting her brother in trouble. I thought Jackson was constantly unpacking the diaper bag and getting into all the snacks..but I finally caught her. Jordan is just as guilty!!!

Shark Reef

Just another one of our weekend outings. We hadn't been to the Shark Reef in a few months and I was shocked and how much more into it Jackson was this time around. He loved running through the place to look at all the fish and sharks. He even touched the sting rays this time.




Jordan just thought her brother was crazy and loved taking it all in.



Jerome went to go get the car fro us because the wind picked up pretty bad. I snapped a shot with BOTH kids looking (kinda).
